10th February 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Mainly cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Tuesday 10th February - walks * – Around Felixstowe – gloomy with drizzle. Walk 1. The gloom continues with another mainly grey day so was in no hurry getting up, breakfast flowed by exercises and with Mag booking a trip to the mountain in March, our first trip away I the van for 6 years I walked down to the pier to take a few pics to send to the TV weather! Despite the grey I got a few nice pics and was lucky enough to get one chosen for a BBC Editors Pick but sadly it did not make it onto the TV:( The forecasts on both the BBC and ITV seem to be all over the place at the moment with all the local presenters disappearing, I am not sure if there have been cut-backs so this is permanent??? Walk 2. After sorting out my pics, a quick lunch and being a Tuesday we walk around to our old friend Mary for a catch-up over a cuppa, with no major improvement to the weather looks like we will have to get used to the grey for the time being but at least today was fairly mild!
